Cost: £65 to include a light lunch and drinks.
A warm and cosy, atmospheric and serene venue, it is a wonderful space to give yourself a day of taking care of your Well Health.
Leading this Mindful All Day Retreat, Gail, an experienced Mindfulness teacher of many years within health care and well being environments, will invite and guide attendees through different meditations and practices.
We will explore and connect to our inner, emerging rhythms of the changing season. With relaxing and nurturing mindful practices and the nourishing immersion of healing sound, this day develops the restorative powers of supporting our well health, connecting to our own powers of resilience and well being.
There will be a number of lying, sitting and movement meditation practices, with time to reflect and rest, to absorb and be, in a supportive and warm environment.
Teas and coffees will be available all day and we will have a light, wholesome lunch such as soup and bread and fruit. We will have tea and cake at the end of the day.
Joining us, Soesen Edan, founder of Edan Sound, is a certified Sound Therapist, helping people to heal, deeply relax and rejuvenate with the power of sound.
Sound therapy is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body and mind of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony, balance and health. It can be incredibly effective in lowering stress & anxiety, balancing blood pressure, regulating breathing and heart rate, healing chronic pain and allowing a persons body to rest, heal, reset & regenerate on a cellular level.
Soesen specialises in individual and group therapeutic sound sessions for the public and organisations, in community, private and corporate settings.
From wellbeing days to weekend retreats, workshops and bespoke 1-2-1 therapy, Soesen has supported thousands to heal, balance and transform.
What you will need to bring
A yoga mat
Cushions/blocks for your head and to support under your knees if needed.
This day is suitable for
Those who have little or some meditation experience/practice, who wish to explore mindfulness meditations and/or have attended mindfulness courses or similar. This is an opportunity for people who wish to explore and/or deepen their attention to mindful development and awareness of self, with compassion and intuitive wisdom.
The nature of the day is often deeply contemplative for people and may not be suitable for people who are experiencing acute mental health episodes and similar conditions. Please contact me to discuss any queries regarding this.
